We are Jo and Kiara, two sisters raised in Tampa. Like most Tampa natives, we grew up on deviled crabs. They're basically crab croquettes. Whether hanging out with family at our Aunt’s house on a Friday night or running errands on a Saturday afternoon with our mom, deviled crabs were always a quick and delicious option. As adults, we relocated to Jacksonville and over the last 10 years have fallen in love with its people and the opportunities that the city provides us.
But… We’ve always craved the taste of home, grabbing a few deviled crabs was always front of mind when we went to visit family. One Sunday on our way back from visiting Tampa, while eating deviled crabs, we decided to bring our childhood favorite to Jacksonville. That was in February 2021. From that day, we worked non-stop to first perfect our own deviled crab recipe and then launch our food truck business in February 2022. Since our Grand Opening, we have grown expeditiously, proving that the people of Jacksonville love this infamous, Tampa delicacy.
And this is not your dime-a-dozen seafood truck. We have put our own twist on the traditional deviled crab, and it is bursting with flavor. We’ve also taken other beloved dishes and incorporated seafood, as well as other premium ingredients to ensure that every customer has a rich, decadent culinary experience.
